Shop / harmony gear deluxe tie down
Our story: Four friends since school days who share a passion for outdoor activities like kayaking, biking, and camping, have turned their hobby into a profession. They wanted to create products that would bring more value and improve the function and design of gear for their beloved pastimes, such as motorcycling and surfing.
What makes our product unique: The brand was designed by athletes who understand the importance of reliable, high-quality equipment. The focus is on ensuring that function and design work harmoniously to serve the true purpose of the gear, whether that's protecting a kayak or SUP board during transport, or making it easier to secure a surfboard to a roof rack.
Why we love what we do: Experiencing the thrill of outdoor adventures, not just in their spare time, but every day, alongside good friends, is the driving force behind this brand. The joy of creating products that delight their customers is deeply rewarding, as it allows them to share their enthusiasm and expertise with others who share their love of the great outdoors.
Product Description:
PROTECTS DURING TRANSPORT: The lashing straps are designed to protect your kayak, SUP board, or other equipment from annoying scratches during transport. They feature an underlaid foam (neoprene) pad and plastic-coated cam buckle to securely hold the gear in place on a car roof rack.
DATA AND CERTIFICATION: The kayak straps are 11.5 feet long and 1 inch wide. They have been tested according to the European norm DIN EN 12195-2, with a breaking strength of 2200 lbs and a working strength of 733 lbs. The webbing is made of sturdy polyester.
APPLICATION: These rack straps are perfect for securing a canoe or a stand-up paddle board. The surfboard straps have a bevelled strap end, which simplifies threading into the cam buckle. The attached strap is elastic and sewn with hook and loop, allowing the rolled-up lashing strap to be held together and stowed in the trunk of the car.
USEFUL ADD-ONS: The tie-down straps have a bevelled strap end, making it easier to thread them into the cam buckle. The attached strap is elastic and sewn with Velcro, allowing the rolled-up strap to be held together and stowed in the boot.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Hold and open the cam buckle between thumb and forefinger. 2. Insert the end of the cam strap from below without twisting. 3. Pull the tie-down strap through and tighten it. 4. Please note: do not lift, only lash, and do not load above the permissible working strength.
